I have dvi cable, still do i need hdmi cable ?

Hi friends,

I have bought benq 2420 hd monitor, it has dvi port and my graphics card HD 4350 has dvi and also hdmi port. currently i am using dvi to dvi, should i purchase dvi to hdmi converter, will that help in giving better quality ?

HDMI and DVI will give the same picture quality but HDMI will allow for audio along the same cable, so if your monitor has built in speakers that you are using then you would have one less set of cables running between the PC and monitor.
