I have G-Skill Ripjawz X (8GB) but running GTA IV takes up 77% of it...Help please

Try starting in Safe mode and see how much is used. Would guess that there is a fair amount being used from items in start up, your OS will be using some, it may be sharing some to your GPU

I wasn't able to start the game in safe mode as it requires audio drivers. I've heard that GTA IV simply has memory leakages issues, I'm going to guess this could be there issue? Thanks again for the reply!
