I have High ping when i play any games. As well as when i go on ping test the ping goes to 250-300 or even 400. I dont know why, I even wired my connection but nothing seems to change. I need help I've contacted my ISP but they say they are receiving good speeds are there end.

Solution
A primary consideration WRT 'ping' is distance.
Connecting to my router = 1ms
Connecting to a server 50 miles away = 9ms
Connecting to a server 3,000 miles away = 200ms

However, the same 'speed' (~80+ megabits/sec).

Where are these servers you are connecting to?

my speed test are a solid 56.67Mps download speed , but my ping is 200-400 but no i havent changed anything .

Server im connected to are from new York. But when i play a certain games its connected in Chicago. But heres the tricky part, when i got to ping test and check my ping in Chicago its a solid 40-42 ping.

Sounds like the game changed their ISP, or your ISP changed their upstream provider, or there's a network glitch and one of the major routing hubs is down or has off-loaded traffic to a different hub. The site you are pinging in Chicago may be a relatively straight route, while the packets for your game may be routing through San Francisco.

Try a traceroute to your game server's IP address, and find out which hop is adding the large latency.

Speed has nothing to do with ping times. If I load a 4 TB external drive with data and drive it to your house in 15 minutes, that's a transfer speed of 35 Gbps. But the latency (ping time) is 1800 seconds.

Why do I get the quizzy feeling that some of you just read from the Internet about this ping thing, then from now on you are chasing this number without knowing exactly what it does, how does it affect you, and most of all, do you even have control of this thing.
