i have installed directx 9.0 but when i play counter strike 1.6 the graphics is still bad....i mean the game is still running

i have installed directx 9.0 but when i play counter strike 1.6 the graphics is still bad....i mean the game is still running in software mode instead of video mode

go to options>video>press software and choose openGL>apply>ok>play
Graphics cant be any better as they are,its cs 1.6 90s game.Get css or csgo if u want graphics
