i have installed wireless drivers but still my wifi is not working?

I am using HP Compaq nx6120 and i have installed wireless drivers from hp's site but still wifi is
not working in my laptop.
What should I do?

Have you made sure the wi-fi adapter is actually turned on? Sometimes there's a small switch on the side or front of the machine - others have the wireless icon printed on one of the Function keys and you press that and the Fn key at the same time to turn it on.
