i have intel core 2 duo e7400 with 775 soket .And i want to upgrade my processor to q6600 should i do that.
my motherboard "MS-7525 VER:1.0".

The MSI MS-7525 (Boston) is a motherboard built by MSI, but with specifications provided by HP. The VRM just isn't powerful enough to support a Quad Core CPU. The links that you provided are useless; they presume that any socket 775 CPU is supported. A quick Google search seems to indicate that an E8400 should work with BIOS v5.22: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/275652-30-7525-boston... If you don't have it, v5.22 can be found at http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/Compaq-... I'm not saying an E8400 will work since I have no way to test it. Besides there may be more than one...

2. TDP of MSi 7525 motherboard is 65W TDP , that q6600 CPUSD runs 105W TDP it will not work on it

3. I think your only best bet with that cpu will be a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E8600 (65w TDP)
