I have just plain magicjack and have had for a long time. Recently changed to uverse because it was supposed to be better tha

Changed to uverse from dsl and now the magicjack calls get lost or dropped. Does anyone know what we can do? At&t says it's not their equipment and magicjack is no help, was on hold a half an hour the last time I tried to talk to them. How can this be fixed, because can't go back to dsl it's not available now.
