[SOLVED] I have just upgraded my ram from 8gb to 16gb and my ram is only using about 7gb when playing a game

I have just recently upgraded my RAM from 8gb to 16gb and I have purchased a Vegnance 2x 8gb and put it into my PC. It shows up 16gb on My PC, but when I run a game it is only using about 7gb of ram. How do I make it use more?

That's like saying I stopped ordering fast food and now went to an all you eat buffet and asking how you can eat more now that the food is unlimited. lol.

Programs will use only as much ram as they need. If you didn't have any ram issues before or were very close at 8gb, you no longer have any issues. Windows will automatically use more ram as well to cache resources, but aside from that there's nothing much you can do to manage memory usage.

That's not what RAM does. Programs use the amount they need; unless you're actually running out of RAM, it won't get you any better performance. There's no purpose to "forcing" software to use more than it requires.
