Hi
I bought new monitor LG Flatron w2453v. I have problem when I use HDMI cable between the display and graphic (GV-R487d5-1GD) (ATI Radeon series HD 4870 1 GB GDDR5)
this problem is no Full Screen using Windows 7 RC & Radeon 4870 in HDMI mode :??:
I know that this problem is not with LG display. I think this problem with bad HDMI cable or wrong ATI driver with windows 7 64bit.
I use Display port or flat panel display with no problem ( full screen), but HDMI monitor has problem.
can you help me to solve this problem??

It might be like most new tvs, and there are display profiles for each input. Perhaps your HDMI profile is set for Dot-for-dot and you are running a resolution lower than the native resolution of the screen?

thank you for replay
I opened screen resolution and it is displayed 1920x1080 (recommended) then I read the (GV-R487d5-1gd) user manual for display screen resolution .

complete resolution of LG display ( w2453v) : 1920x1080

Display Screen Reslution (Graphics Accelerator: GV-R487d5-1gd):
640 x 480
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
1280 x 768
1280 x 960
1280 x 1024
1440 x 900
1600 x 1200
1680 x 1050
1792 x 1344
1800 x 1440
1856 x 1392
1920 x 1080
1920 x 1200
1920 x 1400
2048 x 1536

I heard that the cable HD is better than other cables so I bought it but When I use The HD cable
problem1: I noticed that the screen was 16:9 instead 16:10
problem2: and the words with HD cable were not clearer than words with other calbes
these problem have occurred to my friend that has the same computer and same screen

thanks
