[SOLVED] I have lots of RAM, want to build new Fedora workstation to host several VMs

I have lots of RAM from an old set of Dell M600/M610 blades.

Specifically:

10 x 8GB 2Rx4 PC3
2 x 16GB 2Rx4 PC3

I'd like to build a server/workstation which will run Fedora and will host several virtual machines.

Where do I even start to put this together? Storage is sorted, but where do I start with motherboards?

I currently use a core i7 with 16GB RAM as my desktop, with several VMs, but would like to expand on that.

I kinda hope that memory is considered "old" so the motherboard doesn't need to be the latest and greatest.

The aim is just to make use of all that RAM, not to build a cutting-edge machine.

Any suggestions, or just directions to get started in my quest?

Thanks,
Rob
