I have no idea what im supposed to buy when building a computer!

Hi, i'm looking to do my first gaming PC build soon but I have no idea what to buy, everything is so expensive or not compatible and my brain cant handle it. Basically, I have budget of only about £500 which I get won't get that much but i'm looking for PC to run pretty normal games like Overwatch, Fortnite, GTA 5 etc. (i'm really not bothered what it looks like, I just want it to work and to finally start building it.-easier the better) Can anyone give me any recommendations on what to buy or where to start because i'm really confused, thank you .

^ Good build but 240GB is way too little and for that budget 1 TB HDD will do for now. Reduce the 1300x to 1200 which can OC to match the 1300x.
