So a few days ago I came home from work and my internet wasn't working. I connected to the wifi on 5 different devices, but none of themy can actually use the Internet. When I connect my Xbox to the internet, it says "DNS isn't resolving Xbox server names." When I plug an ethernet cord into my PC and Xbox, it shows I am connected but doesn't work either. On my PC it says I am on an unidentified network. I click on that and it says my internet is limited. I then click the diagnose button and it says ""Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration." My step dad's computer though is working. He is connected and it allows him on the Internet. We are usingoing the same connection. I tried restarting everything and I also restarted the modem.

Do you know how to change the IP settings on any of your devices? If you can try setting static DNS servers. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

It sounds like you are having DNS problems on the troubled machines. Using Googles free DNS servers as above should be a work around for you.
