I have problem installing .NET 3.5 on my Windows 8.1 Pro

Hello guys,

So I have installed Windows 8 recently and updated it thru store to 8.1. I wanted to install .NETfx 3.5 with windows update but it gives me error 0x800f0906. I tried to resolve it with this guide http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2734782/en-gb. So I put USB with windows 8 in opened cmd and written as stated in guide. But I got another error 0x800f081f. So I followed this http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/windows-update-error-0x800f081f guide without success. I tried it with both W8 and W8.1 on my USB stick. Please help me guys I am really desperate.

As recently answered to another question on the same lines, a friend of mine recently had this problem. His fix was to do a fresh install of Win8, then install .Net 3.5, then install 8.1 update. It appears that the 8.1 update causes problems with the .Net 3.5 install.
