FIrst of all, I would really appreciate those who take their time out to help me in this matter. I am new to overclocking and would be grateful for those who can answer my few questions.
Here are my test results for Load, Idle , and Ambient
q6600 3.4ghz g0 @ 378 x 9 multi 3 cpu core v1.39 vcore
Ambient 25c (room temp)
dle T-case 33 celcius
idle system 30 celicus
idle core 1 43
2 43
3 37
4 37
Load t-case 34
load system 54
Load core 1 67
2 67
3 63
4 63
All these temperatures are gathered from using prime small tts full core testing.
Taken from guide for the go q6600

Question: 1
There is a chart in the thread that mentions the specs for the processo in regards the max tcase/tjunction. My load tcase is 34c, but my tjunction is about 30+ degrees apart from my tcase. Is anyoen able to explain that a bit further?
question 2: Taken from the guide: "Factory Calibrations from Intel, and popular temperature utilities are frequently inaccurate." I would appreciate if someone is able to elaborate that in regards my results.
question 3: Taken from the guide: "Since Tcase indicates CPU Die temperature only, it is not used for Throttle or Shutdown activation, however, as Tcase Max will be exceeded before Tjunction Max is reached, Tcase Max is always the limiting thermal specification. "
So this means that the tcase temperature for 34c will be the determining factor when I overclock my system? Since my tjunction temperatures are way above of what this guide indicates then it is bringing a lot of questions in regards this temp guide.
