Question I have recently bought and am waiting for a "corsair VS650w White 80 plus psu. will it hold up with these specs??

Will it work? Maybe but it's not a PSU I'd personally put into a gaming system. It's a very low quality unit and while it's 650W I'd take a better quality 550W or even 450W unit over it any day.

well currently i am using a 450w psu that is white rated aswell so i'd say it's still an improvement. what i really want to know is are white rated psu's much different from bronze or gold rated psu's?

White, bronze, gold is the efficiency at different loads and doesn't determine quality of a PSU. There are even some bronze rated PSU's that are better then gold rated ones.

ah ok, i've just heard that white rated psu's should be avoided and am a bit worried. thanks for clarifying.
