I have recently updated to Windows 10 in my Dell Inspiron 15 3545. Since the upgrade, my touchpad is not working. it's not eve

It's not even showing up the mouse in device manager. I have installed synaptic drivers from dell website. External usb mouse is working flawlessly. I am using windows 10 professional 32bit.

Are you sure 3545 is a Model? Doesn't come up through any search.
Looks like their website doesn't list it either. Check their website to see for the exact model and if it's a windows 10 supported driver.

Windows 10 32 bit driver are not available on dell website. WIndows 10 64 bit is available. I've use windows 7 32 bit driver( as win 7 was only available for 32bit drivers). The main problem is why the mouse is not listed in device manager. If it was listed, I could have managed to work it.

If you read the Driver name for the Touch pad under the Windows 10 64-bit section, it looks like a 32bit driver:

Attention on the name "INPUT_DRIVER_CN4KX_WN32". Have you given it a shot? I understand you've tried the Windows 7 already. Won't hurt giving this one a shot.

Also important to note that the link you provided says the Model is 3542. I'm not a Dell Expert, but make sure they match as well :)
