i have been the r/buildapcsales subreddit searching for deals ,to see if i can something that can go on my build

they were 2 deals that caught my attention

one was a B-stock 1050 ti on the official evga page for 130$

and the other one was a Refurbished B-Stock evga BQ 80+ bronze certified 850w semi modular power supply on the official evga page for 45$

my main question is with the power supply , is it safe to buy this? because for me it seems great since i was originally planing to put a evga 600b on my build , and that it's a tier 4 PSU and this is a tier 3 PSU with the plus that is semi-modular and has a higher wattage, so that's my question

here is a review about the PSU that tom's hardware did on the PSU

Solution
EVGA BQ 850 is mediocre quality unit made by HEC Compucase. Not the worst and not the best. For a system using GTX 1050 Ti, 850W is way too much and PSU's efficiency would be quite bad. While the most what your PC consumes is around 300W, EVGA BQ 850 would do if it were brand new. But since it's refurbished, there's no way to tell what kind of abuse it has seen and if it even works as it is supposed to.

Since PSU is the most important component inside the PC, for your and your PC's sake, never buy a refurbished PSU. Saving $50 on a refurbished PSU can cost you a MoBo when your PSU dies.

For new PSU, i suggest getting any good quality (Tier 2) Seasonic unit, in 500W range. E.g: S12II-520, M12II-520 EVO, G-550 or Focus+ 550,

Focus+ is the newest PSU line from Seasonic and it comes with 10 years of OEM warranty. Other listed Seasonic PSUs come with 5 years of OEM warranty.
All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. Full specs with pics in my sig.
