Some laptops won't work if the battery is completely dead, others will, even on the charger.

If that is the case with yours, you will need to replace the battery before you can get it to work again.

When I plug tha ac adapter it shows it is charging but when I press the powerbutton it turns off the light near the charged port and when power button is pressed for long the light flickers
My battery is not upto the standard capacity. Is this the cause of the problem?
Earlier I had to plug the cable to turn on the laptop but it doesn't work now
Help needed please
