I have Windows 7, & my HP laptop is saying "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded".

Hi. I have an HP laptop with Windows 7. I recently done updates. Just now when I went to logon, it is not letting me access. It comes up saying "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded". I have read the similar question, but I dont know how to get to the "safe mode", or how to get to the "admin" part to get to those files etc seeing I cant get past the first part of having to login. I am the only user on my laptop, so am the admin too arent I? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks =)

I too have this problem but cannot enter safemode (I have to go pass a security manager password input stage first (which works ok) before inputting the windows password (which fails). I have W7 on an Optiplex 7010PC; please help me too!!
