I hit my motherboard

When I was building my PC yesterday I found my case was too small to fit my Sabertooth Z87. I tried to put the motherboard in but a protruding part of the case hit the back (covered by plastic) and during that process I touched the bottom of my motherboard too on the back. (the other side of the cpu) Will this cause any problems?

Solution
If it works, you are probably off the hook but it could result in a damaged integrated circuit, there are tons of lining inside the motherboard that a single pressure that does damage it to it and you're required to swap a new one.

So should I try building it and if it doesn't work then buy a new one? Also is it possible to keep the same CPU if I've already installed it on the old motherboard? (since I already installed the CPU and the RAM)

Yeah, do a test bench outside the case and have it power on, all you require to do a test bench is the mobo, ram, cpu, if you're CPU have an iGPU, then you won't require a discrete one. Power it on and sees if it works, if not, have it in for a replacement.
