Well, I know this is kind of a crazy problem, buut...
I just got the Z640 speakers from logitech (im sure some of you are familiar). They come with 3 1/8 plugs for use with a normal computer - green, black, and orange. I'm not exactly sure what they all do (thats how little i know)...but I guess that question is tertiary for now.
You see, it comes with a littel converter jack, so from a game console that has RCA coming from it, you could plug the two RCA cords into the jack (for some reason, only the black and green plug into this) and get that sound from your console.
Now, for the real questions.
1. I have an old stereo that sits on my shelf...its not the greatest, not the most advanced, but it plays CDs and the radio and plays them well. I'm satisfied with it. But you see...the speakers on that thing (i have no idea what this connection is called) connect by just putting the stripped wires from the speaker into little metal slots on the back of the system. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Now, is it possible for me to somehow get that little connection converted to RCA so that I could use my z640's with it?
2. If question 1 is a big no, then howabout this: Say I was to buy a more up-to-date system with more modern jacks on the back. I don't even know if it'd be RCA, i'm assuming it is...buuut...the ones I've seen, it looks like jacks to put somehting in, not wires to plug into somethign else. surely I can't plug a socket into another socket, so....
Would there be any way to set that up with my Z-640s?
