[SOLVED] I inserted my old GPU to test it before selling it. Should I worry about my drivers getting messed up for my current one?

So my current GPU is a Palit GTX 1070 Super JetStream with the latest drivers installed.
I decided to sell my old ASUS GTX 960 so I tested it first with my rig with 1070 driver installed.
The 960 worked fine and all but I'm worried if inserting and testing it out will mess up the drivers for my 1070 because the the 960 appeared as a hidden device in device manager under display adapters right after I tested and removed it.

I didn't manually install anything tho. Just inserted the 960 then tested a game and Furmark.

Should be fine and the drivers should be the same for both cards.

If you have any issues run Display Driver Uninstaller and then reinstall Nvidia drivers fresh.

thanks for that! I was about to do what you've suggested but I didn't want to go over that if I didn't really need to. so far everything works fine so I'll just probably do that when a new drivers comes out just to be sure. thank you 👌
