I installed my nvidia gpu while having amd drivers installed

I just got a 1080 and I replaced my r9 390, I installed it and turned on my pc and it freaked out and black screened and had a green line on top. I shut off my pc and tried it again and it booted up fine I’m just asking to see if I damaged my gpu

It shouldn’t damage the gpu. I’ve done it before and the most it has done is not let me use the new gpu until I uninstall the old drivers. I would use DDU to uninstall the drivers. Here’s the link https://www.wagnardsoft.com
