I7 8700k
Msi 2080 two 6+2 pin adapter idk if that’s the problem
16 gb ddr4 ram gskillz 3000
850 g evga

got the 2080 yesterday had a 1660 ti
But still getting 40-60 on max watched bench marks of the same pc setup getting way more frames
Played rust at at decently high setting on a battlefield server and was only getting 55-70 fps
I also play on 1080 p just switched from 1440p because I got a new monitor reset my pc nothing seems like it’s working

Solution
Memory in the wrong slots? Your memory should not be directly next to each, should be a gap. They also generally go in the slot farthest from the CPU, a gap, then the second closest to the CPU. Everything else checks out.

Have you re-installed the GPU drivers?

70FPS is probably about right for battlefield. Was watching someone running a 3080Ti with a late model CPU, 4K, 1440p, 1080p, and then switching to an RTX2060, still getting the same rough FPS.
