I just bought a new HDD (WD blue) for my PC but it doesn t work...

I connected it to my motherboard (Sata and power cable) and my BIOS shows the hard drive but the Computer Management doesn't. Please help me why?(Im useing windows 10)

does it show in Disk Management?

It most likely has to be Initialized and Formatted.

In case the drive is not recognized by Disk Management, try swapping cables(SATA and power ones) and ports.

My Sata cable were wrong but now the HDD perfectly works. Thx guys!! WD is the best!
