Question i just bought a secondary monitor, the samsung cfg7 24' curved gaming monitor and i ran into some problems, please help.

i made the new samsung my main monitor and the other one the secondary but for example if i open google chrome on the the main samsung monitor then chrome is also on the secondary monitor. and also in the secondary monitor i only see the task bar but no symbols on the desktop like the bin and apps i downloaded. what can i do?

you want to extend your monitors, check your settings against that and post back. Also, how are the monitors hooked up (cables used) and to what port?
