I just bought the i5 6600k and am wondering if i should return it

I just bought a new processor to upgrade from my 8350, i got an i5 6600k and am wondering if I should return it for an i7 6700k. I don't edit videos etc, I just play games and do normal stuff. I also might upgrade my 970 to a 1070 and am wondering if the 6600k will bottleneck it.

Heres my build

CPU: i5 6600k
Mobo: msi z170 a gaming pro carbon
Memory: 8GB ddr4 hyper x fury black
cpu cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo
GPU: msi gtx 970 4GB
Boot Drive: samsung 850 evo 120GB
PSU: evga superNOVA 750 watt
case: cooler master master case 5
Storage Drive: 1TB WD Blue

For gaming, there is absolutely no reason to return in, it will perform the same/similarly to the 6700k. The 6600k will not bottleneck the 1070 or 1080, it will work just fine with it.

Always room to overclock, your CPU is fine. The curve is more focusing on GPU's right now, should be fine.

The i7 6700K can actually make a difference, especially in directx12. Go watch digitalfoundrys videos on the i7
