Question I just build a new pc, I bought an m.2 ssd and it won't show up in bios or the OS

Is your motherboard in fact the ASRock B450M Pro4-F?
What model m.2 SSD do you have?

My motherboard is a Gigabyte b450m something. I changed it out because it had an m.2 port. The SSD is the Intel SSD 6 (with a PCIe key)

You haven't answered either of my questions with any accuracy.
There are many motherboards that are Gigabyte B450M. Which specific model are you using? and Which specific SSD do you have?

Is it installed correctly, with the standoff installed first, then the small screw that fastens it perfectly horizontal and parallel to the motherboard.

Is there an option in UEFI/BIOS that enables the slot that you are using?
