I just did something I probably shouldn't have done.

My computer fan is pretty irritating (like the CPU fan) if someone taps my computer or if my computer is moved or something while it's on for an example not necessarily moved more-so tapped my fan will start making a rumbling noise that I can't explain (if someone knows of an example video feel free to link it)

Well anyways to save me the effort of going to the shop to fix it because I don't actually build my own I kind of am stupid to mess about with the fan to get it to work again and every now and then it would work again and today I actually somehow managed to just pull the fan out (don't ask how) it just happened.

Anyways since I managed to get it out I thought why-not clean it and then see what happens when I put it back in and it's running exactly the same as it would have if it was still in (that I've noticed)

A good mate online of mine that I trust a lot actually said to me to just keep track of my temps and see how it goes and right now it's idle on 30-34 degrees which he said is fine, and my active is around the same to 40-42 roughly.

I'm not sure if that's accurate and I'm not sure if I should actually take it in to the shop anyways and make sure, but it seemed to just pop out and pop back in just as if you were screwing a bolt out/in basically.

Does anyone think it should be fine if the temps are showing? It's still moving.

EDIT: I also tried turning my computer on for a split second to see if the computer was running fine without the fan (and it worked as if it would without it) but the fan keeps it cool which is what i understand) just don't want it to stuff up because of it)

the heat-sink isn't the metal thing that fan is attached to right to put it back into the computer correct? the fan popped out like (the fan was attached to like a little metal thing) not really what you're describing but it seemed like it was actually attached to the fan to pop it back into place.

(if that's what your talking about) then i'm not sure but nothing else came out with it.

it was definitely not stable when it came out (like i said when i switched it on afterwards when it was out for literally a split second it was a quiet as anything) it's running fine right now and the temps are not changing or going up to high or too quiet it's idle around the same as it was but like i don't want it to stuff up as i'll be busy in 3 days :<

but it definitely popped out it wasn't like attached to anything that I'm aware of i'm not sure about mounted/electronic fans (i'm not that techy)

EDIT: my idle temps seem to be around 32-36 it seems and my active is around 42-46 is this okay? my TJ. max is 98 (so I would assume if it gets over 60) i should be concerned correct?

You really need to use a fan on your cpu. Your set up wasn't designed for passive cooling.

Appreciate the reply hunter315 just want to be sure (just aslong as it's fine for the next 2 weeks) I'll be fine, just i'm extremely busy in 2 days due to an upcoming expansion of a game.
