Hey Guys!.
I have a asus z170 pro gaming mobo, asus ROG strix gtx1060 6gb, intel i5 6600k, corsair h45, corsair Cx750m bronze and some RAM some friend gave me 2x 8gb.
I am almost 100% sure at everything is in the right place but when i turn it on nothing happens (some light on the motherboard turns on) but nothing else, there is no sounds from it. I have removed the CPU and placed it back and nothing happens, i have the small cabels (PWR SW, PLED +, PLED - and HDD LED) they are in the right spot 100%

What do i do????

Um, I don't think that DDR3 fits in a DDR4 slot. If he was given the wrong memory, it wouldn't fit into the slot

It is DDR4 RAM

I just tryed that but it didn't work...

It is not plugged in cuz i don't know what cable it is and where i should put it ...... but thanks 😀

I have one 6 pin and one 2pin is that fine ???

Is there any chance the i havent recived them???? cuz i can't find them but i know where to put them now 😀😀😀

On a CX750M? No. They should be part of the 'hard-wired' bundle, I think. It may look like 8pins total, but they split into 2x4 connectors (you don't need to split them though as your board requires the full 8 pins - some only need 4), just ensure you're using the ones labled "CPU" and not "PCIe" which may also look like 8pins (a PCIe power connector shouldn't fit though, so don't force anything).

I only got 2 "hard wired" 1 for my mobo and 1 for my graphiccard soooo what do i do?

What are the cables to your GPU say on them? PCIe? Or CPU?

I'd suspect the 24pin ATX and 8pin (2x4) CPU would be the 'hard-wired' cables, not a PCIe for the GPU. Take a second look at that.

I can't find reliable pics of all the cables with a CX750M (is your labeling green or silver on the PSU btw?), if you could post one with all the cables available to you, that would help.

The cable for my GPU says CPU and the the labeling in yellow or green on the box and silver on the PSU, But now what cable do i use for my GPU???

THANKS ALOT <3
I realy like that you took your time to help me 😀
