Question i just got a pc and the bios is making it overheat help

GPU; GTX 1660 Super

CPU Cooler: idk some intel cooler it came in the box

MB: MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4

RAM: 8x2g skill something

PSU: micronics 600w classic II





im running the bios and it starts at around 40c and goes all the way up to 90c in like 1 min and 30 seconds

yeah the fan is spinning and the thermal paste looks to be fine.

i did take the CPU cooler off and checked the thermal paste, and then put it back on.

Wrong! ALWAYS clean and replace the thermal compound any time the heat sink is removed. To do otherwise is to compromise cooling.

Do you have power limits on the CPU removed? If you do then you will need more than the stock cooler.
