I just installed my old HyperX Savage SSD. I'm going to wipe it and copy my hard drive to it. However, it has partitions, I'm in disk manager- I'm wondering if deleting Disk 2 partition 3 is correct so I may secure erase? (It's the only thing that says disk2)

Solution
Unhook the power cable to the SSD.

Go to Microsoft and use their tool to create a Windows 10 USB.

Go back in and hook back the power cable to the SSD, unhook the power to the drive you are wanting to clone.

Boot from USB. Use the advanced tab in the installer utility to delete all the partitions of the SSD, then cancel install.

Reconnect the "other" drive and use your utility to clone to the SSD.
