When i first installed the gpu my pc booted up and displayed to my moniter then about 10 mins later while installing the software for the gpu my moniter went black and i have not been able to get the card to work since.

I tried my old 1050 and my pc worked fine but then going back to the 1070 my pc lights up and fans spin but its not displaying to the moniter.

My specs:

CPU: i7 8700
PSU: FSP 500w 80+ bronze
MOBO: P03-600 (came with my pre built)
RAM:16gb

Solution
PSU: FSP 500w 80+ bronze
Most likely the power supply isn't sufficient to properly power the system. A new 650 watt Bronze or Gold rated PSU with two 6+2 pin PCIE rails should fix the problem. If it doesn't fix the problem you could return the PSU, but I wouldn't recommend that. I would instead see if the GPU can be refunded or replaced first.

brand new GPU? or used? have you tried different video output on the card?
It's a refurbished gpu and i have tried all the outputs and it just won't display to the screen or even boot up properly. my best guess is upgrade my psu and mobo before sending back the gpuand gettting a new one.
