[SOLVED] I just short circuit my motherboard once

My pc was running fine.Then I got a thermaltake ux100 cpu fan I installed it and my pc wasnt turn on it keeps restarting itself.Then I got it to the service centre they said i short circuit my motherboard.Now I want to install the same cpu fan.Should I do it?or not?

If an expert installed the fan my motherboard won't fry again?or this fan is not recommended for my Mobo(Asus b360-G)

If it's right cooler for that MB nd it's installed properly, it should not short anything.
