Question I just updated my son's MSI bios with a 16GB USB formatted with NTFS

The motherboard is a PRO B650-VC WIFI II and I updated UEFI fine with a NTFS formatted USB. I didn't even think about it, because it recognized it. It updated and seems everything is good. Could I have screwed up?
Doesn't the new boards recognize NTFS without problems now?

Yep, it's on the new version. In the MSI forum someone said that now the boards can handle NTFS format, whereas the old boards could only read a USB formatted to FAT32.

If it couldn't read the stick it wouldn't see the file or give you the option to flash it. Modern machines are much less picky about drive format than they used to be, nothing to worry about.

It's becoming more common for boards to use the NTFS.
