I just want my games to run at medium/high at 60. I'm stuck with am3, I'm not rich, and I don't know what to do.

I got into pc gaming over a year ago and I made a huge mistake. I bought a prebuild since I didn't know much about pc gaming at the time. I'm stuck with am3. I eventually upgraded to an rx 460 2gb and recently got an fx 8350. I previously had the 4300 and after getting the new one I haven't seen any difference. I have yet to get a new fan for my cpu so it runs hot and I know it's gonna affect my fps. But, I don't know if that'll help by much. I just want to start over and get make a new pc from scratch, but I can't. Is there something I should do? Should I just try to start over and get a new gpu, cpu, mobo, and ram? Or will a new cooler help me out? Maybe I should just quit pc gaming because it's pissing me the Foul language removed by Moderator.

The GPU is the main issue for most pc games. I would go to ebay as they have a big sale on right now site-wide and you can often find a good priced GPU there. There are a few websites that can help you. The first is pcpartpicker which lets you see the prices of current and old pc parts. The second is https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ which lists GPUs in order of best to worst.
