Whenever I click on a link in my email I get one of these errors seen above. I posted in a different forum about this a month ago and was told to do something in the browser security area to fix this issue. It did fix the issue....for a while and now its back.

Thanks in advance....also whenever I try to preview my Shopify store I get the errors. The weird thing is if I click on a link and get one of these errors I can x it out and click on the link again and the link opens normally but not the Shopify preview.

Baffling right?

I am using the Chrome browser and this happens in my Gmail, two different encrypted email accounts and on my Shopify preview. I just updated Windows and still, I get these crappy errors!!

First off, thanks for taking the time to help me!
Malware scan? I did some sort of scan within Chrome that was supposed to look for bad software, nothing more.
I had vpn subscription before but it has lapsed a year ago.
The date and time are correct. Previous thread?

You said you had posted this in another forum. I was asking if you could provide that, so that you don't get duplicated information. Knowing what has been done before is important.

I would start by installing and running malwarebytes -- https://www.malwarebytes.com/ It will scan for for malicious software.

VPN software can mess up the networking software on a host. I don't know that IS the problem, but I can't rule it out.

Strangely enough, I can not locate that other forum thread. I do remember that the only reply I got suggested I change something in the security settings within Chrome and it seemed to help for a few days.

I did run the malwarebytes but nothing was found.

I did have a vpn subscription a few years back. This specific problem I've been experiencing with the two errors is only four months old, approximately.

Any other ideas my friend?

I believe those just mean that the site's security certificate is out of date. Doesn't mean that anything is necessarily wrong with that site, and the "fix" you had earlier was probably just to ignore all errors like that.

However, I can't say that I would suggest that. What I would suggest is to try a different browser, such as Firefox or Edge. If they don't give you the error, great. If they do, I wouldn't be putting my info on that site, and I wouldn't remove security settings so that I could do so. Personally.
