[SOLVED] I keep losing connection

Okay, I just built a pc and i bought a wifi card because i dont have ethernet in my room. the wifi card is a gigabyte GC wb867d and everytime i connect i lose connection after about 5 mins. the catch is that i have an extender and i dont lose connection to that. however the speeds are way faster from my main connection. i updated the card drivers and reset and uplugged router multiple times. i also changed my connection to private because it was on public and it still doesnt work. if anyone has any tips, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

did you try to use another channel on the router for wireless you could have something that interfer with your signal .
