I know not the best but how would this 4k LCD do with 4k gaming?

On a BIG budget. I found a used Samsung 48" 4k LCD TV for a great deal and wanted to use it for PC as well as XBOX One X gaming.

Could you tell me how bad this would be vs let's say a new TCL 6 series 4k TV?

I mean would I be greatly disappointed vs just using my 55" basic 1080?

That PC cannot run 4k... and it would certainly not look really nice unless you are 10 meters from the screen. It would be better to buy a TV for 1k and a monitor for 200-150. Monitors also have reduced latency.

OK thank you so much.

What about for the XBOX ONE X? It is more for my little boy

Does a non HDR 4k matter a ton? I know it looks great but I am on a budget.

The Xbox Will do great on 4K just get an additional HDMI 2.0 cable If you do not have that to display 4k60. And for HDR The black and while Will be more detailed for instance snow Will appear more realistic it’s Nice to have But not worth playing extra for in my opinion. Instead of HDR i would get an OLED tv OLED allows The pixels to be fully black for If The room is dark The pixels Will not give any light. If you do that with a non OLED display The pixels Will be black but it would not be off so there Will be some light you Can try it yourself by having a black picture on a phone on full screen in a dark room then you Can see it. It has to be a non OLED screen ofcourse.
