hey guys, I just got a question to make, will this pc run cities skylines, With no mods, and in medium settings? what will be the max I can reach with it?

I3-3220 intel processor
Gtx 1050 gpu
seasonic 520 psu
and 8 gb of ddr3 ram

thanks in advance and I repeat, sorry I post this here, but the community is great here to get constructive answers and opinions

On medium settings you should be fine. But ofcourse, as your city gets bigger, you will experience performance issues.

If you experience performace issues to the point that the game is unplayable, you could always lower the resolution or settings.

(oh damn,I thought I was going insane with your profile pic) okay,so in medium setting I should be okay for a while, and how about the fps count? bearing in mind that Nothing will pass medium settings, and even some settings will be on low. my monitor is a 720p I guess (natively 1366 x 768) Im dreaming of an upgrade of the CPU to an i5,but for now I've already saved for that psu and that gpu

You should be getting 60 fps on medium, 720p. If you start using mods, fps will decrease, no doubt.

As I said, when your city starts getting bigger, performance will decrease. This is due to the fact that the game starts using more cpu.

Since you're on 720p however, this should take a while to happen. Expect to have 35 - 50 fps when it happens.

About upgrading your CPU

You currently have an i3-3220, which uses the LGA1155 socket. With this socket, you don't have that much compatible CPU's.

I'm guessing this is an older motherboard also? Getting a motherboard with a 1150 or 1151 socket will give you way more possibilities.

no mods whatsoever will be used, only vanilla cities, even when the cpu gets stressed out I should be getting qa steady 35-40 fps?
it is old, it's a gigabyte GA-H61M-S1 for the current years to come, I do not planned to change the motherboard as Im not willing to "throw away" my ddr3 ram,I know that for gaming is not a good choice, but Im not hardcore,Im average to casual
I was seeing some alternatives of I5 but it's difficilt to get them in my socket and in a box,and not used, but hey,the last thing you loose is hope
