i lag in game even though i have an decent pc

my pc specs are
intel core i3 3.4 ghz
nvidia geforce gt 610
4gb ram
1tb internal
60hz monitor
internet speed is 700kbps
but still i lag in game like dota 2(20-40 fps) and csgo_15-40 fps) even in lowest possible setting. pls help
i cant understand **** in this .

Sorry but that is not a decent gaming pc. The GT610 is not really for gaming, I don’t know which i3 you have but it’s going to be a dual core which is low end and 4gb RAM isn’t really enough.

All that said I would expect slightly better performance but I might be over optimistic. Can you confirm your monitor is plugged into the gpu and not the motherboard?

60hz monitor
internet speed is 700kbps
but still i lag in game like dota 2(20-40 fps) and csgo_15-40 fps) even in lowest possible setting. pls help

No it's not expected,a frigging celleron can run dota 2 with 50+ FPS even in team fights...while recording,yes this is a gtx 650 but it's also 1080p max settings and not lowest.

The thing is the 610 is so weak that this is expected performance.Dota on max is not hard to run and a gtx 650 is so much better than a gt 610. Cpu wise he is fine but that 610 is just bad.

Make sure your monitor is plugged into your nvidia card and not into the motherboard.

Actually, the Intel HD 4400 is significantly *more* powerful than the GT 610, so the latter is essentially scrap metal or a GPU you use to swap GPUs to diagnose a problem.

OP, the problem appears to mainly be your lack of a proper GPU suitable for gaming. You can respectably run lower-spec games like dota2 and CSGO on an older i3. But you really need an actual GPU. Even an inexpensive entry-level card like a GT 1030 will be a massive upgrade.

You also have to be careful about running things other than the games as your internet speed is on the low side as well. But can't diagnose any possible issue there with your speed or your ping when the GPU is the primary issue.

While you will need to connect your monitor to your GPU when you have a gaming GPU in there, your GT 610 is actually slower than the integrated graphics you're currently using. It's simply not intended for any kind of gaming; the primary practical use of GPUs like this is to provide the ability to use a basic PC in cases in which the CPU does not have integrated graphics.
