I like 60hz better than 144hz

I bought a 144hz monitor and it was really different from 60hz. the VG248QE. I used it on 144hz a little bit and then went back to 60hz. The first thing I noticed is that the colors came back a lot better than what they were on 144hz. Then I gamed on 60hz again and it just felt better. Like 144hz was too fast. idk i guess im just weird or something but I really do like 60hz better than 144hz. I guess i didn't buy the monitor for nothing though because it has a 1ms response time, has good colors at 60hz, and was about 200 dollars on sale lol

I see your point Joex, but you need to remember that everybody doesn't process 60hz and 144hz the same way.

It's been proven that only specific people like 60hz over 144hz for some strange reason. It could be eye problems or you just don't care for the extra speed.

I have that monitor and there have been a few games that i got to play at 120+ fps, which was awesome, the colors stayed the same for me.

You know I wonder if some 144 monitors don't have some sort of color wash out at the high speeds. I have a friend who has complained about it looking faded on his at high hertz (haven't personally tried his) but when he tried mine he said it looked fine. Bad batch of panels out there maybe?
