Question I lost my clicks?

As of this morning; my mouse clicks no longer work on my PC.

When I noticed; I struggled with it for a bit before I went to my standbys; i restarted (where it asked me to specify a boot device...odd...) and then came back in, it congratulated me for updating avast, I let it update steam, because it always needs to do that and then I ran CCleaner, MalWareBytes and Avast.

Avast is still running, but no indications of an issue and the problem persists, even with different ports and mice in use.

My right-click does nothing at all and my left-click flashes two-sides of a menu for a split-second and then nothing further. I think I'll restart again after Avast is done, but WTH?

The escape key was stuck. I am dying inside.

I was going to suggest the keyboard would cause that odd menu with a left click. Glad you figured it out
