I lost my old usb flash drive help!

I have lost my old USB flash drive I have been using for very long time can't find it around the house, I got bunch of important Microsoft Word Document files online by that USB flash drive at my desk top computer, tried clicking it to get the files multiple times doesn't work it said Driver F Devices is not in so unless I find my old USB Flash Drive can't get any word documents online so my question is to you how can I get back all my files without my old flash drive in hand since can't find it around the house, can you fix this problem for my please, I am using HP Computer Desk Computer.

If you dont have the drive you dont have the files, theres nothing else to it.

If these files are that important im sure youll store them in more than one location now.
