i m not getting my ram in my pc

i have intel g41 model-dg41kr i orderd my ram online dolgix 4gb ddr 3 ram unbuffered but still when i put it in my pc my pc is not showing the display i have a 2gbn samsung ram in my pc 1333 mhz but it runs fine i dont my why 4gb ram is not working if u have any solution then answer me

The reason why the 4GB RAM module does not work is because the Intel DG41KR motherboard does not support 4GB modules.

That board supports up to 4GB RAM in total.

Since there are two slots, that means each slot supports up to 2GB.
