Its been difficult to me to get money, but I`m starting to hate mi x360, so i want an upgrade. Should I go for PC or PS4.

THE thing is that i dont have too much money, so i would upgrade a pc in 4 years from now.

I have 1200$ for both system and at least 5 games.
whatdayasay? and why.

edit: I love MGS, the last of us, and beyond two souls. NO MMOS at all.

BUT Which is the best EXPERIENCE?

The one and only reason to ever get a ps4 over a pc is when at least 10 or more of your mates all have one and you all enjoy the same game if not it is not worth getting a ps4. Take my word for it I used to be a ps3 no life
Just ask yourself which system will get you the most gaming time and which has more games you want to play.

An answer is too subjective to gain a majority consensus.

Then again you're asking a website mostly dedicated to PC enthusiasts so you're most likely going to get an incredibly biased answer.

A good PC can give you better graphics, more games and for less money. Ps4's games are much more expensive and Ps4's components will be outrun in 3-4 years. A PC you can upgrade. With a budget of 1200$, PC is a no brainer for me. However, its your choice.

If you have an old computer, you might want to get a PC to replace the old one and play some games. On the other hand if you don't need a computer in your house right now, I would go for the PS4 to avoid having to constantly upgrade and worry about getting to play on the highest settings with the best resolution. Right now the PS4 and 360 are about as good as my 2 year old PC so in 3-4 years, they might be extremely far behind technically.

I say you should write a list of all the pros and cons of each and make your decision that way. I would personally figure out how to get both so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

I am a PC enthusiast - but I never game on my PC's.....that is what my XBOX is for. The reason? Simple - the hardware works for the games that are purchased for it - no upgrading, compatibility issues, etc.....The XBOX One, XBOX 360, PS3 and PS4 all make great gaming platforms for the games on the system - the biggest decision to make when gaming - is your platform supported by the game? (not all games are made for PC, PS4, XBOX one, etc....)

Buy a PS4 someone has to and it isn't going to be me, Sony needs the help, lol. I like having a separate CPU and graphics card I can upgrade in the future rather being stuck with the same old APU.

There are a few questions to ask yourself. What do your friends play? Does used games interest you? Do you like Console exclusives? Are you a LoL or WoW player? Did you miss out on older games?

These are all important questions. If you look at it as a pure graphical perspective then PC will win hands down and will allow you to do more. If your friends all play PS4 I would go with it to play with them. If you find the ability to trade and buy used games then PS4 is the only choice between PS4 and PC. PS4 has console exclusives like inFamous, Driveclub, Destiny(console in general exclusive). If you want to play LoL or WoW then you need a PC. If you want to play older gamers like Skyrim, Devil May Cry, Dark Siders, etc then a PC would make a better choice.

It all comes down to a personal preference and what you want to do with it.

My mate owns a ps4 and he said its not that good the games all cost like £50 each and the games are not even that good so far. Console gamings day ended after the end of ps3. I would go for either a ps3 and a cheap pc or a mid range pc and no game console

just remember you can use a pc for a host of other things beside gaming. For many people they need a PC either way, so adding a decent graphics card gives it the ability to game also. With the budget you have i would take a pc, but you really need to be a pc hardware enthusiast to want to do this, as there are plenty of complications that can, and will arize, where as a ps4 is plug it in and play your game with no other issues. if you arent comfortable building one yourself, then the cost of buying a pre-built you get way less for the money and i'd probably just get the ps4.

games are also bundled with certain gfx cards so you strait away get a couple with the system. Not sure what the deals are at the moment.....

If you play online, remember that you have to pay a yearly fee on the PS4, which will add to the cost for years. PC doesn't have that problem as of now, since playing online is free for (almost) all games.

Unless the PS4 has some specific games that you want to play, go for PC... You will never have problems with backwards compatibility. You can customize graphics vs performance how you want. You can connect any controller that you want. You can get the games for cheaper...

The only reason I would get a console would be on-site multiplayer. I mean, playing with some friends, all on the same console (like sport games, or some CoD zombies-like game).
PC's are usually not very enjoyable if you plan to have more than 1 person playing per pc, but consoles do give you that choice.
Still, for personal use, a PC is WAY better.
