I\'m using a linksys router to connect two computers to the internet. When both pc\'s are on I get an ip address conflict message. How can I have both pcs without this message coming up.

Are you using DHCP to automatically assign IP addresses, or did you set up both PCs for static addresses?

I have them both using DHCP to automatically assign an IP address

First, log into the router and make sure it is set up to issue more than one IP address

Then, one at a time, open up a Command Prompt on each PC and type the following two lines:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

They should now each report a different IP address.
