So I'm not sure where but i got the information. But i made my mem stick into a bootdisk i think. I cant recall what i used but i wanted to see if i could reverse what i did so i could have a working mem stick again.
It says on the back its a cruzer glide 8 gb from scanDisk.
Thinking back about it i'm just mad i listened to the person. But to fix this i'm tryen to find the site he sent me too. I know there is very little info to go on but any help would be great.

It is not showing it. It shows my other sticks when i plug them in just not this one. I figured out what it was i did on it. memtest86.

Huh.. weird.

it wont even show up on the program test disk...

Drop to an Administrative Command Prompt, and enter the following commands. Let's see if we can get that puppy running again.
Diskpart - hit enter
list disk - view list of disks in computer
Select disk (enter number of disk that corresponds to your stick) press enter
list disk - just to make sure the asterisk is beside the memory stick
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=(whatever you want FAT32, NTFS, etc) quick
exit
exit (yes that is exit twice)

I sorta knew this was gonna fail but i tried anyways. Where it lists the number of disks it still just shows up 2 like "testdisk" did. ...So i wonder if the stick broke after i used it to run memtest or after when i tried to make it work again. I was thinking it was to do something when i started up the pc but it no longer does that for memtest so i guess i did uninstaled the driver... or it mighta broke before i could even do that.

Now, let's be 100% sure we're talking about the same thing. Are you talking a USB Memory Stick, or a RAM stick like you put on your motherboard RAM slots? I want to make sure we're both talking about the exact same thing here.

usb mem stick.
