Question I moved from an ASUS Motherboard to a Gigabyte Motherboard and everything seems to be exactly the same (no issues)--is this normal/correct?

Howdy all,

Relative PC-building novice. Had an issue with my prior motherboard, an ASUS TUF X570 and swapped it for a GIGABYTE X570 Ultra. I was expecting to have to wipe my PC, as I'd heard there can be some weird hiccups/issues that arise when swapping out motherboards...but as of right now, windows booted up just fine, everything seems to be exactly the same as it was, and I've experienced zero issues. Should I still do a full wipe just to be safe, or is it normal for a mobo swap to go this smoothly?

Thanks for easing any worries I may have!

Hah! Great response. I had zero problems re-activating windows. I did just remember: was one minor oddity on the original bootup (clock was wrong and had to be synced manually), but after getting into the BIOS the issue hasn't occurred since.
