I'm sorry I don't know where to put this thread. Anyways I am looking for a 750$ CAD PC build. I have built one in the past so I have experience. I don't care if its Intel or AMD. I do have an understanding though that AMD has cheaper prices compared to some Intel CPU's. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Is this for gaming? Need a bit better details for what you are looking for, case size, what monitor are you using, priority for use, storage size needed?

Its is for gaming, I have a 75hz monitor and am going to upgrade to 144 later probably. I don't need much storage but just at least 500 gb. And I don't care for the case size

I found you one:

MSI Gaming Plus B450M
Ryzen 3400G with Radeon Vega 11 graphics
1TB HDD
8GB RAM
550W PSU
An average case

$670 CAD. Tax/Shipping will make around $750.

Some games will hit 1080p30 with ZERO eye candy, but I think for most games you're lookin at 720p,60 AT MAX

Given the pricing that seems to be discussed, do you really need/care for 144fps?

I'd say whatever money you would have put toward a monitor with a faster refresh, instead put toward making your PC able to keep up with 60 or 75fps with current games.

I am not too sure about Canadian prices for parts but pretty sure 750 Canadian dollars and prices in Canada gets you about what 550 US will get you, which is not really enough for gaming at 144 hz at 1080. Unless you get a used system or buy used parts, then you can get a pretty good 6th or 7th gen Intel CPU or Ryzen setup with a 1060 card. I have been seeing used 1060 6gb video card used for under $200.

Best I could do, assuming the 750 CAD is before tax/shipping and doesn't need to include an OS or other peripherals.
